About

A decade spent building Squarespace sites that actually work for the people who own them

I'm Tiffany Davidson. Over the last decade, I've built a reputation for Squarespace work that actually holds up, thoughtful strategy, clean execution, and results clients can point to. No jargon, no runaround, just work I stand behind.

" I've never understood why SEO and web design get sold as two separate jobs. On every site I build, they're the same job, woven into something far stronger than either one alone. "

How I think about this work

I didn't set out with a grand mission to change the industry. I picked up Squarespace, found I had a genuine knack for both the design side and the more technical SEO side, and kept getting better at both over the last decade.

Here's the pattern I noticed early on, working with business after business: the ones who hired a designer got a beautiful site that nobody could find. The ones who hired an SEO consultant got better rankings pointed at a site that didn't convert anyone who landed on it. Both sides were doing their job well. Nobody was doing both jobs together.

So that's what I built my work around. A site's structure, its content, its technical bones, all of it gets built for search and AI visibility starting at the first wireframe, not patched in after launch once the site's already live and quietly underperforming. It's a slower way to start a project. It's a much faster way to get real results.

The Process

What happens after you reach out

01

First, a real conversation. Not a sales call, an actual conversation about what's not working on your current site and what you're trying to accomplish. This call will help us determine if we’re a good fit, if not- I can make other recommendations.

02

Then research, before a single design decision gets made: your keywords, your competitors, and what's actually winning in your market right now. This plus your goals will inform the direction of the design and SEO/AIO.

03

The build happens with SEO and AI-search visibility already built into the structure, not bolted on the week before launch. I reveal the site to you, and we go through two rounds of revisions (I aim to please!).

04

You leave launch with a full walkthrough and blogging regimen, not a login and a shrug. Ongoing help is available after that if you want it in the form of my SEO Retainer.

A few things stay true no matter the project: questions get asked before assumptions get made, decisions get explained in plain language, and you'll always get a straight answer about timelines, even when it's not the most exciting one.

Analog, off the clock

Away from the screen, I split my time between a log cabin in the Kentucky woodsLog cabin in the Kentucky woods (to be near family) and my heart home in the Okanogan Highlands of Washington StateOkanogan Highlands, Washington (for solitude, wilderness, and adventureAdventure). I garden, I'm learning violin as an adult, I stitch strange little embroideriesFolk embroidery, read a lot, swim in alpine lakesSwimming in an alpine lake, walk in nature, write (I'm currently working on a novel about a lighthousekeeper in the 1800's) and practice 35mm film photography35mm film photography. While my days are spent in the digital world, when I log off I'm very tactile and analog. I like to think I've struck a good balance (but running away to the Alaskan wildernessAlaskan wilderness remains a possibility...).
