The stars have finally aligned.

For over a year, I’ve known I need to create this course. I receive so many emails from folks needing Squarespace SEO Services that I can’t possibly even come close to meeting the demand.

I prioritize Design + SEO projects over SEO-only projects for economic reasons, and I often have one primary web design + SEO project underway along with a secondary, sometimes even tertiary, SEO-only project, simultaneously. Until recently! A project cancellation paired with good budgeting of my personal finances is freeing up one whole month that I can dedicate to creating this long-awaited course!

Am I nervous? Yes. I’ve never created an online course! But I’ve invested in Kerstin Martin’s Squarespace Classroom course and will be using this to guide my own course creation.

What will you learn in my Squarespace SEO Expert course?

First, we’ll begin with questions

I’ll outline crucial questions that need to be answered as a necessary first step that will guide keyword research and help to hone in on the target audience(s) for the site.

Then, onto keyword research

I’ll go through my keyword research process in a nuanced way to show you how I select applicable keywords to inject into the sitemap. We’ll generate blog post topics during this phase as well, based on our keyword research.

I plan to use a hypothetical “client” to share my screen and walk you through what the process would look like on my end of searching for and selecting keywords for the site.

next, we’ll move to on-site implementation

I plan to design a very small 2-3 page website and show you how to implement SEO throughout the site as I build it. So the benefit of seeing that process will also be built-in to the course though this course is in no way meant to be a “Squarespace design course.”

Final steps and long-term strategy moving forward

Then, to round out everything, I’ll outline steps that need to be taken right away to encourage Google to index and rank the site, as well as a plan of action that you need to take to continue growing your Squarespace website.
