Squarespace SEO, Part 3: Getting My Clients To Google Page 1 in 2019
This is a fun little series I’ve been doing to celebrate the SEO successes of my clients. You can read Part 1 and Part 2 here:
My Fundamental One-Time Squarespace SEO Service is becoming more and more popular.
And it’s a very straightforward service.
I don’t deliver a bunch of graphs and spreadsheets at the end of the project - just one document listing out target keywords, blog post topics the client needs to create (including URL to use), and instructions on what to do moving forward for long-term SEO growth.
Simple enough.
Yet more and more of my clients are hitting Google Page 1 for their target keywords, using only my organic SEO, no paid advertising.
This is probably the most rewarding part of my business, to be honest.
While I love designing websites and I love when clients are thrilled upon seeing their new site for the first time, what I really love is seeing that site hit Google Page 1, because this goes beyond pretty design. This is actual business and brand growth, and this means I’m helping my clients reach their goals.
That feels pretty dang good to me.
So let’s take a look and see how a few of my recent clients are doing in 2019.
Client: Sissy + Lou
Target keywords: Seattle photography is a highly competitive keyword market, but just 3 months after launch we’re already ranking on Page 1 for: adventure maternity photography seattle and queer wedding photographer seattle. In the months to come, we’ll start to see some Page 1 rankings come through, especially if the client begins blogging.
Site launched: August 2019

Client: Third Life Wood Works
Target keywords: custom woodworking louisville ky
Site launched: October 2019
CURRENTLY RANKING ON GOOGLE PAGE 1.
Client: Tentrax
Target keywords: I’ve already mentioned Page 1 rankings for jeep cargo trailer in my last post, now Tentrax is on Google Page 1 for: jeep trailer and overland cargo trailer, too!

My most recent launch was 2 weeks ago, and I think my SEO skills might be improving because this client is already ranking on page 1 for several keywords…
Client: Sticks 2 Stones Design
Target keywords: kitchen designers knoxville tn, custom cabinets knoxville, knoxville kitchen remodel
Site launched: November 2019

Bear in mind that most of these clients aren’t even blogging, which would no doubt help the cause (and which i clearly instruct my clients to do after the project, even supplying blog post topics and URLs to write about), but I understand life gets busy.
So it’s good to see these results despite not implementing a content marketing strategy.
As I continue to develop my expertise with Squarespace SEO and take on more projects, I’ll have new updates for you.
I’ll make this a series so we can keep tabs on it :)
